The WKU alumna—who is a refugee and first-generation graduate and finished her Master’s in Public Health in May—joins a legacy of Hilltoppers who have earned prestigious Fulbright awards. - ➤ Bowling Green Police mourned Master Police Officer Dale Barbiea, who died Friday morning at age 49 after battling cancer and had served since 2008 as a patrol, K+9 officer and crisis negotiator, earning honors for his work with the department.
