- ➤ Hope for Hunger food drive will start on April 24 to collect food for local kids in need. The Realtor Association of Southern Kentucky and Feeding America will run the drive while WNKY News 40 will track donations (last year's drive collected over 200,000 servings). WNKY

- ➤ Kentucky Auditor Allison Ball launched an investigation into the Office of Medical Cannabis after receiving complaints about the fairness of its lottery process awarding licenses to cultivators and dispensaries (lotteries held in October and November). Her office will review the business license application and award processes (HB 47 signed on March 31, 2023, made medical cannabis legal on Jan 1) to ensure state transparency and integrity.
