Whitley County got there by beating Bowling Green in four sets.

The Lady Purples had reached the quarterfinals for the third straight season, after beating Apollo in straight sets Monday. A win would have matched the farthest finish in school history. Senior JoEllen Marshall said volleyball is "just one part of this program," along with community and friendship.
