- ➤ On Thursday, Ashlee Wilson and Andy Souza appeared on SoKY Speaks to discuss plans for the Fall residential loose leaf pickup — the segment explained upcoming changes and what residents can expect. WNKY
- ➤ Butler County in Morgantown will honor late jailer Wayne Russ on Sunday, November 23 with a visitation at Smith’s Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.—after which a Celebration of Life and parade will allow community members to pay their final respects while donating toys to Toys for Tots instead of flowers. - ➤ The Bowling Green Rotary Club delivered new shoes and socks to 100 students at five schools today—each child was fitted for the right size. Chairman Mitchell Berman said the event brought excitement and helped meet a vital need in the community. WBKO
- ➤ On November 20, the Warren County Public Library launched its winter reading program offering a free book and WCPL beanie for completing any 10 books, audiobooks, or library events, with logs entered to win a private movie rental or storytime. That day, local events saw the Salvation Army kick off its Christmas Red Kettle campaign at 3 p.m., a historical presentation in Glasgow at 6 p.m.—and a free WKU Symphonic Band concert at Bowling Green High School at 7:30 p.m. WNKY
