  • J.M. Smucker Co. donated over 1 million Uncrustables sandwiches to Boys and Girls Clubs in Bowling Green and Scottsville to help children access nutritious snacks. The donation is made possible through a partnership between Uncrustables — local food banks, Feeding America Kentucky’s Heartland Foodbank, and Jarrett Logistics.  WNKY
  • Beloved radio host Chris Bratcher, a near 30-year veteran at 105.3 The GOAT—renowned as a fixture of South Central Kentucky radio—passed away Tuesday morning as the station announced his death on Facebook, and funeral arrangements remain pending.  WBKO
  • Bowling Green will host a free holiday event on Friday, Dec. 5 at City Hall from 3 to 5 p.m.—the celebration will feature an international tasting room with treats, a hot cocoa station, and free ornaments from city officials. Later at 5 p.m., festivities will continue at Fountain Square Park when Downtown Lights Up turns the holiday lights on.  WBKO
  • Yesterday, the South Central Kentucky Workforce Development Board held a free orientation at Allen County Adult Education at 11 a.m. and local author Don Lindsey hosted a book event from 3 to 6 at the Butler County Public Library in Morgantown. Later, Re-Tree BG met at 4:30 at the Lisa Rice Branch of the Warren County Public Library + the Hilltoppers played Bethel University for mental health awareness at Diddle Arena with tipoff at 6:30.  WNKY

  • Hemp business owner Clay Powell said his family business will close in 365 days if the new THC-limit law takes effect—other local farms and dispensaries warn the rule could nearly wipe out hemp businesses in Bowling Green.  Bowling Green Daily News

  • Butler County Jailer Wayne Russ died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, county judge Tim Flener confirmed via a Warren County Regional Jail Facebook post — the cause of his death is unknown.  WBKO

  • Centre College guard Ryleigh Campbell is taking on more responsibility this season—after the loss of four key seniors, she said juniors and freshmen must step up to fill the leadership gap. The 5-foot-9 shooter, known for making smart plays, is working hard to help Centre build on last year's 21-8 season.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • WKU's Hilltopper basketball forward Bryant Selebangue appeared on Topper Tuesday to discuss the team's 3-0 start, and the team hosted Bethel Tuesday night at Diddle Arena with tipoff at 6:30 p.m.  WNKY
  • The Bowling Green football team will play Louisville Atherton Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Waggener High School in a road game that is key for their quest for a third straight state title. Coach Mark Spader said his 6-6 team must play carefully and avoid mistakes—Atherton's strong defense poses a big challenge.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • Western Kentucky volleyball will head to Miami for the Conference USA Tournament Friday at 4 p.m. CST against New Mexico State & they aim to win a third straight tournament title after finishing as regular season co-champions.
