GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Crash Responder Safety Week will run from November 17 to November 21 to remind drivers to slow down and move over for first responders—under the expanded law now protecting anyone in distress on the roadside. Officials stress that following these guidelines is essential to prevent injuries and save lives.  WNKY

HEALTH NEWS

  • On Wednesday, state representative Kevin Jackson, a Smiths Grove native, led the groundbreaking ceremony at the former Bryce Inn site that will host T.J. Regional Health's first Warren County facility. The $10 million 16,000-square-foot clinic will use a drive-through model to deliver care to families, children, and elderly patients - setting a model for future facilities.  WCLU Radio

  • Morgantown Bank and Trust presented pet of the day sisters Blossom and Flora, two playful lab mix puppies aged one month and 24 days, at Hart County Animal Shelter. Residents can call 270-524-1692 for adoption inquiries—bringing double the fun for those wanting puppy cuddles.  WNKY
