- ➤ Yesterday a free FAFSA Workshop was held at SKYCTC from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help students fill out their applications, and a sensory storytime took place at the Lisa Rice Branch of the Warren County Public Library at 10:30 a.m.—later a Himalayan Salt Cave session at Be Happy Yoga and Salt Cave ran from 5 to 6 p.m. and a local wine and art event began at Bluegrass Vineyards in Smiths Grove at 6 p.m. WNKY
- ➤ Chicken Salad Chick in Bowling Green is selling Giving Cards for $5 from early November through December 31 — each card provides $75 in free rewards for 2026 while supporting CURE Childhood Cancer and the Bowling Green Salvation Army. SOKY Happenings
- ➤ Family Enrichment Center has launched a new ambassador program for its 30th annual Run & Walk for Children — the program invites local members to share event details, recruit teams and boost fundraising for prevention programs supporting children and families. Ambassadors, including Youth, High School, College Fitness Influencer and Adult categories, must apply by Dec. 15 for the March 28 event. WNKY

- ➤ The Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center announced several upcoming shows. Marty Stuart and Molly Tuttle will perform on Feb. 5 at 7:30 p.m. with tickets on sale Nov. 14 at 10 a.m., Colter Wall will appear on March 9, and Sesame Street Live will feature Elmo's Got the Moves on May 1 at 6 p.m. WNKY

- ➤ Western Kentucky University held its annual Hope on The Hill event Wednesday afternoon on the Downing Student Union lawn—campus and local groups like Texas Roadhouse and the Bowling Green Police Department helped students find mental health support and enjoy stress relief activities as finals approached. The event aimed to guide students in managing stress as the semester wound down. WNKY

- ➤ On Nov. 12th, T.J. Regional Health broke ground on a new $10 million, 16,000 square-foot healthcare facility at 592 S. Main St. in Smiths Grove that marked its first expansion into Warren County. The clinic will offer primary care, specialty services, naturopathic and holistic wellness and a drive-through model— the first of its kind in Kentucky— that lets patients get routine care without leaving their vehicle. - ➤ Three student athletes from the Warren County Composite Mountain Bike Team, known as the Hollow Riders, raced at the NICA Central Regional Race in Fayetteville this past weekend. Greenwood High’s Callie Richey finished fourth in the women’s JV1 category while Bradley Knapp and Kade Kaspirisin placed 19th and 25th in the men’s divisions—demonstrating strong performance by local youth riders.
