- ➤ Rick Seadler, a Bowling Green local, was named Regional President for market and specialty banking by Pinnacle Financial Partners and Synovus Financial Corp. - ➤ Tate Inc. announced it will move into a 764,000 square-foot facility in Glasgow near Jackie Browning Park—this project will create 400 full-time jobs and involve a $61.2 million investment in Barren County. Bowling Green Daily News

- ➤ A Bowling Green teen is organizing a children’s book drive as her Eagle Scout project to help boost early reading by collecting gently used or new books for the Early Learning Academy—located at the old Warren Elementary School. The drive will take place on October 25 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Fountain Square Park. WBKO

- ➤ On Thursday, Greenwood’s Lady Gators rallied for a 2-1 region title win over Bowling Green at South Warren High School—Caroline Drexel and Landry Campbell scored key goals during an eight-minute stretch that turned the game in their favor. The win ended Bowling Green’s four-year reign as region champions and gave Greenwood their first title since 2020. Bowling Green Daily News
- ➤ Western Kentucky baseball head coach Marc Rardin announced the 2026 schedule at Nick Denes Field, which includes 56 games plus 35 home contests and 12 matchups against Power 4 opponents, starting with a four game series against BYU from Feb. 13 through Feb. 16.
