- ➤ Menards in Bowling Green is hosting a food drive through October that accepts canned goods for local food pantries—supporting community efforts to help those in need. - ➤ The National Corvette Museum announced that it will open a 66,000-square-foot facility in fall 2026 to store historic Corvettes and artifacts. The new building on the museum campus in Bowling Green will offer behind-the-scenes tours — major donations have helped fund the expansion — to protect these important pieces of American sports car history. - ➤ New National Park Service data showed that visitors to Mammoth Cave National Park spent $73,238,000 in nearby communities on Tuesday, October 14—with non-local visitors accounting for 98.5 percent of the spending.
