- ➤ Local Vietnam War Veterans took a one day trip to the Kentucky Vietnam War Memorial in Frankfort. WBKO
- ➤ A new riverfront park project in Bowling Green is moving into phase one with plans for a boat ramp, garden, and seating area. Construction is expected to start later this year and be completed by next spring—future phases will add a playground, kayaking, and tubing. Spectrum News 1

- ➤ The Bowling Green Food School held a Thai cooking class at the SOKY center where participants cooked traditional dishes and learned about Thai culture. Founder Anna Kulka — born in Thailand — said the class connected people and noted the next session will be on December 9th. WBKO
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ A mile-long walk to help end Alzheimer’s disease is planned to raise funds for affected families and support research, and local organizers have set a designated route for participants to join the cause. WBKO

- ➤ Warren East football team snapped a three game losing streak with a 30—14 win over Allen County Scottsville at Warren East High School on Friday. Interim head coach Greg Howard said the Raiders played hard and made key stops to keep their playoff hopes alive. Bowling Green Daily News
