Hope Harbor celebrated 40 years of service for sexual assault victims at its new Glasgow office on N—Race Street.

The organization now offers expanded, free confidential support five days a week with state and federal funds to help the community.

Jackson’s Orchard is hosting its annual Pumpkin Fest this weekend and it will run on the first four weekends in October—offering a corn maze, revamped playground, petting zoo, pony rides, hayrides and a new apple picking season.

The Barren River Area Development District partnered with the City of Bowling Green in an interlocal agreement to allocate $725,000 immediately and another $725,000 next fiscal year in opioid abatement funds to support the Anchor Project—cities and counties can join the effort as approved in the ordinance passed on September 16.
