- ➤ Kentucky State Police responded to a fatal collision at 6:34 p.m. Saturday on I-65 Southbound near mile marker 15 in Warren County—one person died and another was injured as the roadway remains closed. WNKY

- ➤ The Bowling Green Hot Rods beat the Greenville Drive 7-3 on Saturday as Gary Gill Hill pitched seven innings while Bryan Broecker and Carlos Colmenarez hit home runs. - ➤ Flatten the Curve won the $1 million Gold Cup Invitational Stakes at Kentucky Downs on Saturday, August 30 by finishing 5½ lengths ahead of five rivals.
