- ➤ Four veterans were honored with a free flight in a B-25 bomber on Sunday at Russellville-Logan County Airport, a ride sponsored by the Kentucky Veterans Program Trust Fund to mark the 81st anniversary of D-Day — the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. The event allowed the honored veterans, including World War II heroes who flew more than 130 missions, to relive moments from their past service. WBKO

- ➤ Western Kentucky University named its new Gordon Ford College of Business building Amy and David Chandler Hall in honor of a $7.5 million donation from Warren County Attorney Amy Hale Chandler and local real estate entrepreneur David Chandler.
