➤ Laura McCain (55) from Lindseyville died on June 23 just before 7 p.m. when her car collided with a Jeep near Mammoth Cave National Park while she was trying to turn into a gravel parking lot; Kentucky State Police and Edmonson County officials are investigating the accident. WCLU Radio

➤ Jury selection began in Warren County for the trial of two men charged in the disappearance and alleged murder of Crystal Rogers, a mother of five who vanished in July 2015—131 potential jurors have been summoned to choose 12 jurors and three alternates. WBKO
