  • RuFF Agility is hosting one of its biannual agility trials in Bowling Green to help dogs improve their skills and build confidence. The nonprofit will feature four training levels (Intro, Novice, Open, and Elite) to suit dogs of all experience (making the course fair and fun).  WBKO

BUSINESS NEWS

  • Atomic Kitchen, a new retro-themed restaurant at Stadium Park Plaza in Bowling Green, opened its soft service on June 18 led by former Bowling Green Hot Rods president Eric Leach—customers enjoyed 1980s décor with vintage arcade games and movie props. The restaurant will hold its official grand opening next weekend with attractions such as a replica pickup truck and a car show.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • Officials said work continued on the $2 billion AESC battery plant in Bowling Green despite a Wall Street Journal report on June 17 that claimed construction had halted. The plant, which began construction in August 2022 (with local government support), is expected to create 2,000 jobs and shift its focus to energy storage while starting some functions later in 2025 and becoming fully operational by 2027.  Bowling Green Daily News

  • Two more people accused in the Crystal Rogers case will face trial in Warren County tomorrow—charged with murder and tampering with evidence in connection with the disappearance of a Bardstown mother of five last seen on July 3, when her car was later found abandoned with her keys, phone and purse inside.  Bowling Green Daily News
