- ➤ Portier Govan, 39, was sentenced Wednesday to 25 years in prison for crimes that involved luring an 18-year-old Bowling Green woman into illegal sex work, pointing a gun, firing a shot, and sexually assaulting her while Judge Greg Stivers cited Govan's violent history & prior convictions in his decision.
