- ➤ About 200 community members gathered on June 11 at the Russellville and Morgantown roads intersection to protest for the return of detained youth Ernesto Manuel Andres, 18, who was held in Louisiana after his detainment by ICE on June 4. Mayor Todd Alcott + local officials said they will aid Ernesto if his legal status is confirmed + they plan to work together after his bond hearing is set for June 18. College Heights Herald

- ➤ Two Michigan residents allegedly stole a U-Haul truck and were stopped by Kentucky State Police on I-65 northbound at the Tennessee state line—troopers detected a strong marijuana odor, searched the vehicle, and found large quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl pills, marijuana and firearms, including one reported stolen, as both suspects were taken to jail.
