- ➤ Western Kentucky released its spring 2025 honors list that names over 100 students from Glasgow and Barren County based on their GPAs—140 students are from Glasgow, 24 are from Cave City and 7 are from Park City, with GPAs between 3.4 and 4.0 qualifying for the dean’s or president’s list. - ➤ On Tuesday, commissioners approved the first reading of Bowling Green's $188.7 million all-funds budget for fiscal year 2026, which is over $15 million higher than FY2025. The budget will fund parks, stormwater improvements and new police and fire positions—city CFO Katie Schaller-Ward said no tax changes are planned. Bowling Green Daily News
