- ➤ Kentucky Fish & Wildlife Resources reports that osprey nesting has risen from 52 nests in 2008 to 155 in 2017 along the state’s waterways. The improvement follows decades of low counts when DDT nearly wiped out osprey nesting until records resumed in 1985. WBKO

- ➤ Speakeasy Dispensary is set to open its new medical cannabis location for registered patients on June 5 at 11 a.m. at 2708 Scottsville Rd Suite A. A low-cost patient drive will run June 5 & 6, offering evaluation, notary, and state submission in one visit. WNKY
- ➤ Dr. Shea Inman advises that snakebites need prompt hospital care and keeping the bite at or below the heart (and removing tight items) until treatment. He says catching the snake is unnecessary since snakes rarely attack. WNKY
