- ➤ A man died after a domestic dispute on Sunday just before 2 p.m. on Atlantis Way in Bowling Green—authorities said he was found in his home with gunshot wounds despite attempts by deputies, EMS and fire crews to save him, and his brother was later released after questioning. WBKO
- ➤ Deputies responded to a reported shooting on the 200 block of Atlantis Way on Sunday afternoon and found a man with life-threatening gunshot wounds inside his home — CPR and efforts by Med Center EMS and Plano Fire Department failed to save him as his brother was interviewed and then released while the investigation continues. - ➤ A trial will begin Tuesday in Warren County for Steven Eugene Lawson (54) who faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with evidence in connection with the disappearance of Crystal Rogers. Bowling Green Daily News

- ➤ Bowling Green Independent School District has successfully tested its new standards-based reporting system for sixth grade at BGJRHS, where teachers and students now discuss mastering skills instead of letter grades. - ➤ Fiscal court magistrates approved a first reading of Warren County’s larger budget on May 25th, which now totals over $81.3 million—up roughly $12 million from last year’s budget. Treasurer Greg Burrell said the funds will cover normal operating expenses and capital projects like Sugar Maple renovations and a roundabout on Bettersworth Road while no new tax increases are planned.
