- ➤ Two men in Bowling Green were indicted on immigration and firearms charges as part of Operation Take Back America — Artemio Ruiz-Medina, 45, who reentered the U.S. on April 13 and faces up to 10 years, and Zhouchen Yan, 29, who is accused of making false statements on federal firearms forms in Warren County between October 2023 and December 2024 and could face up to 30 years — as federal agencies continue to investigate the cases. - ➤ Western Kentucky University announced that Regents Hall and Normal Hall will shut for code repairs through the coming academic year—about 1,000 students will be affected as housing assignments are updated.
