  • Bowling Green Police are seeking a suspect who broke into the Houchens Industries building twice—at 1:45 a.m. on April 27 and at 2 a.m. on May 7—and it is unknown what was taken while urging anyone with tips to call South Central Kentucky Crime Stoppers.  WBKO
  • Ryan Bagwell, 31, of White House, returned to court Tuesday on charges including murder for a Lovers Lane crash on July 24 that killed Ashley C. Porter; his attorney said pending forensic analysis (which will guide his future case resolution) and a new pretrial conference is set for July 15.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • Police arrested 22-year-old Erik Ixcotoyac-Tzoy early Wednesday after a collision near the intersection of Campbell Lane and Westpark Drive in Bowling Green—officers charged him with DUI, wanton endangerment, criminal mischief, and other offenses after he admitted to drinking about seven beers while turning with a green light.  WNKY
  • Evidence in a murder case was sent for testing at the Kentucky State Police Crime Lab — Ali Fadil, 30, and his father face charges after Michael Scott Lee died, and both are set to appear in court on July 7.  Bowling Green Daily News

  • Western Kentucky University announced it received a $5.25M gift from The Bill Gatton Foundation to support the Carol M. Gatton Academy endowed fund — which offers research internships and study abroad grants to students. The extra $250,000 will boost the LifeWorks Bridge to Independence Scholarship Fund — aimed at training autistic young adults for independent living.  WCLU Radio
