CRIME NEWS

  • Bowling Green man Larry Tarrance Sutton, 66, accused of fatally stabbing his partner whose body was found November 28 (at their Bellevue Avenue home), is set to have a competency hearing on June 6 to decide if he can help in his own defense.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • On May 7, officers executed a search warrant at an apartment on Village Creek Drive, seizing four pounds of suspected meth, 3.2 pounds of suspected cocaine, 1.9 pounds of suspected crack, two handguns and $58,525 in cash—three local men were arrested and booked on organized crime and drug trafficking charges—with arraignment set in Warren District Court.  Bowling Green Daily News

  • City officials approved a $900,000 change order with Scott—Ritter Inc to repair nine sinkhole openings caused by April flooding, with plans to fix areas along Normandy Way and Lovers Lane Soccer Complex.
