- ➤ At WKU’s Spring Sing on Saturday, April 25 at E. A. Diddle Arena, Greek organizations performed movie-themed song and dance routines in a four-hour competition that celebrated creativity and teamwork, with 12 fraternities and 10 sororities participating as part of Greek Week. - ➤ On Sunday, WKU held its Greek Week convocation at E.A. Diddle Arena (all 33 Greek chapters were in attendance) where Kappa Delta and Alpha Gamma Rho earned top honors amid competitive events and scholarship awards. College Heights Herald

- ➤ Coach Will McCoy joined Doug Thompson on The Sporting Times to discuss high school basketball (as part of The Long Game series) on Apr. 26. WBKO
- ➤ Bowling Green Hot Rods swept the BlueClaws in a doubleheader Saturday at Bowling Green Ballpark with final scores of 3-2 and 5-2 — Anderson Brito struck out 10 batters in the opener. The teams closed their six-game series Sunday at 1:05 p.m. Bowling Green Daily News
- ➤ Unbeaten South Warren Spartans won three softball games over the weekend, beating Green Hill 5-4 on Friday and posting shutouts against Frederick Douglass and Scott County on Saturday at Great Crossing High School. The team improved its record to 29-0 and will face Daviess County on Monday. Bowling Green Daily News
- ➤ On Saturday, 170 athletes from nearby counties competed at Bowling Green High School in a Special Olympics regional track and field tournament to earn a spot at the state meet in June. The event was coordinated by Bowling Green Parks and Recreation with strong community support. WBKO
- ➤ On Friday, April 24, the 60th annual Greek Week tug competition at WKU Agricultural Research and Education Center saw Phi Delta Theta win the fraternities contest while Chi Omega repeated their sorority victory — over 2,000 attendees cheered teams that had prepared intensely for the event. - ➤ Brad Johnson was named Greenwood girls’ basketball coach on Friday, April 24, replacing Terrance Williams.
