- ➤ Over 600 motorcyclists rode in the 26th annual Great Teddy Bear Run on Saturday morning from the Warren County Justice Center to the Harley Davidson store to raise awareness of child abuse and collect hundreds of teddy bears for the Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center (BRACAC). - ➤ The Bowling Green Fire Department rescued an owl from a tree on Friday and ducklings from a storm drain near Crosswinds Golf Course on Saturday, reuniting the ducklings with their mother. BGFD showed its commitment to community service. WBKO

- ➤ Western Kentucky’s softball team earned its 11th run-rule win on Friday in a rain-soaked contest, beating Kennesaw State 13-5 in six innings at the WKU Softball Complex, and setting a record home season at 24-1 with standout hits from Kendle White and Maci Masters. Bowling Green Daily News
