- ➤ A federal grand jury indicted 41-year-old DeMarcus McCarley on March 11 for distributing a cocaine mixture and possessing a firearm as a convicted felon—he was detained after his first court appearance and the case is being investigated by DEA Paducah, ATF Bowling Green Field Office and Hopkinsville Police. - ➤ Just after 6 a.m. today, Kentucky State Police responded to a fatal collision on the 5100 block of Cub Run Highway in Hart County when a 2015 Ford F150 driven by 44-year-old Randy Hawkins overtook another vehicle and hit a 2010 Nissan Maxima driven by 26-year-old Jordan Danner—Danner was pronounced dead at the scene and Detective Bo Hubbard is leading the investigation. - ➤ Bowling Green police arrested 26-year-old Nawatha Murrell Jr. on Tuesday, April 22 after his speeding vehicle fled on April 12 near the Muse apartments when it struck another car causing about $2,000 in damage—he now faces charges including first-degree fleeing or evading police. WNKY
