- ➤ Bowling Green Independent Schools announced Monday afternoon that Afton Proffiitt will serve as the new principal of its preschool program Itty Bitty Purples, starting July 1. - ➤ State funding of $16 million will support phase four of Riverfront Park known as Riverfront Park East on a 54-acre site, with $8 million allocated for design this year and $8 million for next year.
