- ➤ WKU student-athletes set a record when 86 earned the Conference USA Commissioner’s Academic Medal for 2024 on Friday—this number beats last year’s 74 winners. To earn the medal, which comes from a pool of 1,056 athletes, students must hold a cumulative GPA of at least 3.75. WNKY

- ➤ Med Center Health will host its annual Expectant Parent Fair on May 7 at The Medical Center-WKU Health Sciences Complex from 4 to 6 p.m. Officials say the fair will feature interactive booths, car seat safety, infant CPR, safe sleep sessions, nutrition advice, lactation services, a tour of the Mother-Baby Unit, plus door prizes such as a yearlong supply of diapers, and they ask visitors to arrive by 5:30 p.m. to enjoy the tours.
