- ➤ The Logan County Humane Society needs support to cover its nearly $10,000 monthly cost as it cares for growing numbers of cats and kittens—falling short by about $8,000 each month. The shelter asks for help from larger cities like Bowling Green and will hold fundraisers and events, such as kitten showers and a mobile spay-neuter program, as kitten season begins. - ➤ Since 2017 a two-person effort grew into a center that helps veterans in Warren and Butler counties by providing free food, clothing, housing support and transportation for VA appointments.
