- ➤ Michael Thomas Mestas, 41, of Rockfield was indicted on three criminal counts—including vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of an accident, and tampering with physical evidence—after he allegedly struck Terry Zweig, 46, who was riding a bicycle on Louisville Road on Jan. 18 and he was due to be arraigned Monday in Warren Circuit Court. - ➤ Lost River Cave in Bowling Green is flooded with 60 feet of water after heavy storms dropped roughly 10 inches of rain over five days. The park is closed until water levels go down and cleanup starts—donations are accepted to help. WKYU-FM
- ➤ Barren River Lake reached a historic high when heavy rains raised its water level to 583.6 feet by Monday morning—surpassing the previous record set in March 1989.
