- ➤ Community Education, BGISD, and WCPS are hosting the 21st Annual Summer Activities Fair at BG Ballpark on April 21 from 5pm-6:30pm (rain date April 23), where local camps, arts, sports, and enrichment programs offer families a range of summer options. SOKY Happenings
- ➤ Bowling Green–Warren County was named a Top 20 finalist for the 2026 All-America City Award after its local civic initiatives were recognized. The Top 10 winners will be announced in June. WBKO
- ➤ Wheelable Wilderness is a new nonprofit in south central Kentucky that makes the outdoors accessible for people with mobility challenges by lending specialized all-terrain track wheelchairs (designed for rugged trails). - ➤ Nominations for the 2026 Kentucky Special Education Teacher award are open until June 30 for special education teachers in public schools with at least five years of experience.
