- ➤ BGISD announced Clay Stephens as its new Director of Pupil Personnel effective July 1 (he is currently an assistant principal at Bowling Green High School) and he will manage attendance, mental health services and supervise Family Resource and Youth Services Centers. WNKY

- ➤ Dr. Shekar at the Medical Center at Bowling Green said over-the-counter medicine (including nasal sprays) should be tried for spring allergies, but if sneezing, coughing, or wheezing do not improve, residents should consult their healthcare provider to check for allergic asthma. WNKY
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ WKU Softball won a series Thursday by beating Sam Houston 9-1 and 6-1 and recording five home runs and 22 hits across both games. The team will face its final game today at 5 p.m. CT as it looks to complete a sweep. WNKY
- ➤ Glasgow's boys and girls track teams finished fourth at the Great Gator Invitational Tuesday. The boys scored 70 points + the girls 73 while standout efforts in the long jump and relays stood out. WCLU Radio
