- ➤ Shinsung ST USA announced plans for a $53.5 million facility in Franklin's Henderson Interstate Industrial Park — the 300,000-square-foot plant is set to create 100 new jobs. - ➤ BGISD approved its four-year District Facilities Plan Monday (April 2) that calls for new elementary schools with storm shelters and upgrades to Bowling Green Junior High and three other schools. - ➤ Bowling Green High School celebrated its new Career and Technical Education building on April 2 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by Governor Andy Beshear. The 19,000-square-foot facility was built with $8.3 million from the Better Kentucky Plan and a 10% match by BGISD—housing three programs with an HVAC course set to start next school year in partnership with Southern Kentucky Community and Technical College.
