- ➤ A Bowling Green man—Tylan Barnett, 22—was indicted by the Warren County grand jury on charges of murder and tampering with physical evidence after he fatally shot 16-year-old Jamarco Dye on January 26, and his sister—Taylor Barnett, 27—was also indicted for tampering with evidence. - ➤ On Sunday morning in Bowling Green, police responded to a call from a paramedic about an ambulance reported stolen with a firearm inside and found the vehicle nearby — they arrested 25-year-old Dylan Reece after he gave conflicting statements about his actions and he remains in jail on theft charges. - ➤ Western Kentucky University will mark Sexual Assault Prevention Month with a series of events throughout April. The schedule starts with a resource fair at Downing Student Union Courtyard from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and continues with sessions on April 7, 9, 12, 16 and 29 — including a discussion, spoken word show, community rally, self-defense class and wellness event — to raise awareness and support survivors. - ➤ Forty-five students received a refurbished laptop in Bowling Green on March 28 through a partnership between AT&T and Human-I-T at Embassy Suites by Hilton during the Boys and Girls Clubs competition.
