- ➤ A Bowling Green parent posted an open letter Monday night urging the school district to enforce a stronger rule on keeping phones off during class. Govatos (a technology trainer) said his daughter's high YouTube Shorts views show that clear guidelines may help curb phone use. WBKO
- ➤ Western Kentucky University mourned longtime piano professor Sylvia Kersenbaum who passed away Monday, March 22. She taught since 1976, performed internationally (including recitals with major orchestras) and was honored with a dedicated scholarship fund for music students. WNKY

- ➤ Today at 8 p.m., the Kentucky Department of Transportation began a traffic change on the 31W Bypass between Fairview Ave. and Park St that may cause delays. Med Center Health now highlights new emergency routes via Fairview Ave. & High St. for access, with the change set to conclude in fall. WBKO
