- ➤ North Central Telephone Cooperative purchased the 980 Lovers Lane building for $2.85 million and is remodeling it into a new local headquarters — a customer service office, equipment storage, and maintenance space that reflects its rapid growth in Warren County driven by its partnership with Warren Rural Electric Cooperative. The Urban Growth Design Review Board approved the plan on March 19 and the company will open the building in April. Bowling Green Daily News

- ➤ Special Judge John Grise upheld former 7th District Court Judge Sue Carol Browning's misdemeanor conviction for second-degree criminal mischief after a jury found she punctured the tires of a parked truck on her property on November 16, 2023 to stop trespassers, resulting in a $500 fine. - ➤ Brandon Gearlds, 41, a Tompkinsville man, was indicted for distributing methamphetamine—he was charged on October 23 and October 26, 2023 and April 24, 2024, made his initial court appearance on March 18, and is now detained pending trial where he faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years to life if convicted. - ➤ GEO International High will move its English programming in the fall to four comprehensive high schools—Warren Central, Greenwood, Warren East and South Warren—to allow refugee and newcomer immigrant students more access to extracurricular activities. WCPS says this change, which shifts the program from a four-year model to one integrated with regular high school offerings, will better support these students’ language and social needs.
