- ➤ One man is in jail after Bowling Green Police and Warren County Sheriff’s Office investigated the theft of eight Corvettes from the General Motors Bowling Green Assembly Plant yesterday—21-year-old Deantae Cortez Walker from Westland, Michigan is charged with receiving stolen property $10,000 or more, fleeing police, criminal mischief and resisting arrest while all cars have been located and authorities work to identify others involved. - ➤ USPS workers held a protest (organized by local employees) at the Scottsville Road location on Sunday in Bowling Green to voice workplace concerns. WBKO
- ➤ About 200 residents gathered Sunday night in downtown Bowling Green at a mock town hall hosted by SoKY Indivisible to ask Congressman Brett Guthrie to respond after he did not hold a town hall despite repeated requests. Attendees spent 90 minutes voicing concerns over federal policies that led to cuts in funding and jobs at Veteran Affairs, national parks, and the Department of Education — issues they say harm local services.
