- ➤ BGISD announced that Superintendent Gary Fields named Caitlin Lawson as director of special programs; Lawson will begin her new role on July 1. She has worked as a teacher and preschool principal since 2016 (helping every student get the support they need). WNKY

- ➤ City officials have listed storm shelters available in Bowling Green and surrounding counties for severe weather; Bowling Green hosts shelters at Ephram White Park, Phil Moore Park, and Michael Buchanon Park (see full list online) with additional sites in Allen, Barren, Hart, Logan, and Metcalfe counties. - ➤ On Thursday, Mar. 19, Foundation Christian Academy debuted its varsity baseball team at Warren Central in a 3–1 loss. Warren Central senior Justin Alvarez-Bell pitched seven strong innings to lead the Dragons to their first win of the season. Bowling Green Daily News
- ➤ Allen County-Scottsville junior Brooklyn Oliver drove in four runs and pitched a five-inning complete game to lead the visiting Lady Patriots to a 10-0 season-opening win over Edmonson County on Thursday.
