- ➤ The Green River Ferry at Mammoth Cave reopened today after months of flood repairs and boat upgrades. It operates daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. — services depend on river water levels. WBKO

- ➤ Former Mammoth Cave guide Jerry Bransford spoke today at the South Central Kentucky Cultural Center, sharing how enslaved guides shaped the cave’s early tours with family photos and inscriptions. - ➤ Farmers RECC named four high school winners for the 2026 Government in Action Youth Tour — the students will visit the state Capitol in Frankfort in March and travel to Washington, D.C. in June to learn about state and federal government. WCLU Radio

- ➤ Warren County leaders proposed a new animal control ordinance to ban roadside pet sales and set inspection standards in unincorporated areas – a first reading is scheduled for Mar. 12 with a second on Mar. 26, and the measure could take effect on April 1 pending Fiscal Court approval. WNKY
- ➤ The Franklin Planning and Zoning Commission approved a preliminary plan for TenKey LandCo I LLC’s proposed data center on Steele Road on Tuesday. The approval lets the firm move to finalize details for a project that may create 200 jobs and generate $17.68 million in local revenue (subject to conditions). Bowling Green Daily News
