  • Gov. Andy Beshear will join local officials and Tate, Inc. leaders on Tuesday in Glasgow to mark the company’s entry into Barren County. The $76 million development will use a 764,000 sqft facility near Jackie Browning Park to create 400 full-time jobs.  Bowling Green Daily News

  • On Friday, Feb. 6, Warren Central boys' basketball clinched the top District 14 seed by defeating visiting Greenwood 77-46 at Warren Central High School. The Dragons showed strong defense and scoring to secure the win after a recent setback.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • Western Kentucky’s softball team split Saturday’s games in Statesboro with a 4-2 loss to UNC Greensboro and a 1-0 shutout win over Georgia Southern; coach Amy Tudor credited Morgan Sharpe and Katie Murphy for key plays.   • More than 400 athletes competed in the Special Olympics Region 1 Basketball Tournament on Saturday at the Kummer/Little Recreation Center, with winners advancing to the state finals in Louisville as community volunteers supported the event.  WBKO
