- ➤ A new food pantry at State Street Baptist Church was launched by the MLK planning committee and NAACP to help residents get essential groceries without stigma. It accepts government ID and will operate Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon and Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. WNKY

- ➤ Bowling Green’s Public Works Department is ready for a potential winter storm by starting 12-hour crew rotations Friday evening; crews will treat high-traffic routes on Scottsville Road with salt and brine to keep snow from bonding to the pavement.
