  • The Lindsey Production Group is hosting a benefit concert today at Capitol Theater to honor late music legend Marc Owens (founder of High Street Studios). Musical acts like Blackstone Cherry, Government Cheese and The Josephines will perform to raise funds for his family.  WBKO

HEALTH NEWS

  • Graves Gilbert Clinic and Humana reached a two-year agreement that will let Medicare Advantage and Medicaid patients continue care with the same doctors. The deal brings expanded preventative services, stronger telehealth, and improved chronic condition management for all patients.  WBKO
  • More than 38,000 gallons of Meijer brand distilled water in 128-ounce jugs are under recall by the FDA due to a floating black foreign substance, and the recall affects products sold in Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin with sell-by dates of Oct. 4.  WNKY
  • Warren County was certified as a Recovery Ready Community in November 2025 and its sheriff's office works with local partners (Kentucky Christian Recovery Center and LifeSkills Inc.) to strengthen treatment services and help guide other communities in reducing drug overdoses.  Spectrum News 1

  • Western Kentucky’s athletic director Todd Stewart praised head coach Tyson Helton’s steady leadership amid high roster turnover.   • Western Kentucky’s women’s tennis team lost 4-3 to Bellarmine on Thursday at the Warren County Tennis Facility at Michael O. Buchanon Park. The Lady Toppers drop to 0-1 and will face Vanderbilt on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Nashville before playing Louisville on Monday.  Bowling Green Daily News
  • Foundation Christian Academy Athletics will move from the 14th District to the 13th District starting in the 2026-2027 season, with school officials saying the shift will boost growth and competitive play for its student-athletes.  WNKY
  • Warren County Parks and Recreation is set to close the SoKY Ice Rink season in Bowling Green, which opened in November and saw 14,000 visitors, with its last public skate on Jan. 25 and a hockey tournament (featuring former NHL player Steve Carlson) beginning Jan. 31.  WNKY
