- ➤ Barren County Schools reported yesterday that staff found written language in a restroom referencing a threat at the middle school; law enforcement responded and confirmed there was no credible threat — students were not at risk. WNKY
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ CDC updated the childhood immunization schedule by reducing routine vaccines from 17 to 11 and local pediatricians in Bowling Green worry the change may confuse parents. They will keep using the proven schedule while insurance still covers extra vaccines if parents choose them. Spectrum News 1
- ➤ Suicide deaths in Warren County dropped to 22 in 2024 from 26 in 2023 but rose 31.8% to 29 in 2025, prompting advocate Kaitlyn Slaughter of the LifeSkills Regional Prevention Center to call for immediate mental health support for all age groups—especially older adults. WBKO
